Auxiliary: John Stickels

Mr. John is AMAZING with our little pre-kers. He greets them in the mornings with a big smile and happy energy. He greets them by name. He is so patient while buckling up each child. He goes out of his way to say hi since he does not drive them to Annetta in the afternoon. My daughter loves bus mornings with Mr. John.

You are truly a shining star in the lives of your Pre-K students. The way you greet each child by name every morning makes them feel so special and valued. Your fun music brings smiles to their faces, turning every ride into a little adventure filled with joy. The fact that you take the time to stop and say hello to the kids after school, even when they're on a different bus, shows just how much you care about their happiness. It’s these small but meaningful gestures that make such a big difference in their young lives.

Paraprofessional: Kolton Klein

The department was preparing for an important meeting and realized a couple of days before that we needed more technology equipment. We put a ticket in and Kolton responded quickly and came the following day. He made sure everything was ready to go for us, and even let us borrow his personal equipment to make sure we were taken care of. He went above and beyond and we really appreciate the help he gives to our department!

His expertise and lightning speed to respond to issues is unmatched. When our internet goes out or we don't know how to fix something, Kolton to the rescue! We love him.

Thank you for always helping with my computer needs. Always showing up with a smile on your face and never leave until my computer is fixed. I appreciate all you do!

Professional: Stacy Cliver

Stacy Cliver is a true gift to Aledo ISD. I was nervous moving my son from private speech therapy to the speech through the schools. She walked me through every step, helped me feel at ease and kept me up to date on all that they were doing. When we found out we were being zoned for the new school, both my son and I didn't know what we would do without her. He has raved about her and her "speech class" ever since going in there. It was always part of the week he most looked forward to. Now having her still involved at the new school, he is absolutely thrilled, and so am I. She has patience, kind and caring attitude every time he sees her. He never feels out of place or ashamed. He talks about trying to help others in the class and consistently tells me about how Mrs. Cliver believes in him. That means the world to this mom’s heart and knowing she is there for my son has always made me happy! She is the true definition of Growing Greatness within Aledo!

Substitute: Elizabeth Palmer

As a guest teacher, Elizabeth (Mary) consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that students remain engaged and supported in their learning. She arrives prepared, fosters a positive classroom environment, and builds strong connections with both students and staff.

Mary isn’t just a substitute—she is a valued part of our Coder family. She is one of the first people we call because we know that when she’s here, our students are in the best hands. Her well-rounded skill set and willingness to take on any challenge make her highly sought after, yet she always makes time for us. Mary’s presence brings a sense of stability and excellence to our campus, and we are incredibly grateful for all she does for our students and staff.
